Every Little Thing was inspired by Terry Masear’s 2015 memoir Fastest Things on Wings: Rescuing Hummingbirds in Hollywood. It traces her growing understanding of the nature of existence as she tends to dozens of wounded hummingbirds in LA. This soaring film captures the painful journey from injury to first flight shared by hummingbirds and volunteer rehabbers. In her review for the Hollywood Reporter, Sheri Linden wrote that ‘ …Every Little Thing is not just a deeply affecting portrait—it offers compassion as a way of life.’
