Hard to fathom, but it’s 20 years since NCIS debuted in the US. The original series has more than 450 episodes across 20 seasons and has aired in 200 countries. In the US in 2021, it was the highest-rating scripted drama. In 2022, it was the second-most streamed show. And now there’s NCIS: Sydney. This is the fifth series in the franchise, the first to be set outside the US, and Allegra Caldwell provides expert music supervision. It is produced by Michele Bennett and directed by Shawn Seet, David Caesar, Kriv Stenders and Catherine Millar. NCIS: Sydney airs on Fridays on Ten and is streaming on Paramount+. The series screens on CBS in the US. Its premiere drew the highest viewership of the night for a primetime broadcast program. Watch the trailer
