Bryony composed the score to the ABC TV’s adaptation of Markus Zusak’s surreal mystery novel, The Messenger. The plotting and structure are ‘lean and uncluttered’ according to Luke Buckmaster and the action progresses at a good pace ‘with a downbeat stoner-like charm all its own’, aided by Bryony’s imaginative scoring.
